Here’s what there is to like (and there’s a lot) in the Grand Gardener line:
Size and Detailing: An eight-foot width is standard for these greenhouses, with available sizes of 8 x 8, 8 x 12, 8 x 16 and an enormous 8 x 20 which will accommodate almost any home gardener. The extra width is enough to allow all of these models to have latching and lockable double doors (with aluminum hinges) which open outward, and a low threshold makes it easy to move plants, tools or wheelbarrows in or out. The number of roof vents varies with the size of the glasshouse; there’s one in the 8 x 8, two in the 8 x 12, three in the 8 x 16 and four in the 8 x 20. And the dramatic look of the roof completes the elegant appearance of the Grand Gardener.
Glazing: It’s unusual for Rion glasshouses, but you get to choose the type of glazing in your Grand Gardener. But it’s not (as you’d probably expect) a choice between types of glass – all of these greenhouses come standard with twin wall, unbreakable polycarbonate glazing, 6mm for the sides and 4mm for the roof panels. The choice is whether you want opaque or clear polycarbonate. They each have their advantages; opaque panels provide extra UV protection for your plants, while clear ones allow for greater transmission of light while also making your greenhouse absolutely glow in the sun.
Any home gardener would be proud to have one of these beautiful Grand Gardener models on their property – they’re not just functional and durable, they’re stunning.
